Richard’s journey began long before Amped EV existed. Back in his WyoTech days, the Blairsville Rotary recognized his dedication and excellence, naming him April Student of the Month. His instructors selected him for his superior academic achievements and outstanding accomplishments, both in and out of the classroom.

Even as a student, Richard wasn’t just focused on his own success — he was committed to helping others. He served as a tutor and mentor for fellow students, always ready to share his knowledge, offer guidance, and encourage those around him. His leadership extended beyond academics as an active member of the Student Activities Council, helping to shape a stronger, more connected campus community.

Upon graduating in June, Richard returned to his hometown of Silver Spring, Maryland, with a clear vision: to build a thriving career in the automotive industry. He started with his own automotive shop, bringing a high level of technical expertise and customer care to every project.

That same drive and integrity are at the heart of Amped EV today.
